The Best Romance Novels?

Not too long ago, National Public Radio conducted a survey in conjunction with the NPR Summer of Love. They asked readers to tell them about their favorite romantic reads and had to shut the poll down early after over 18,000 votes flooded in. Consulting their panel of experts, they broke down the finalists into categories that illuminate a "love story for the ages": Historical, Classics, YA, Suspense, Science Fiction and Fantasy, Paranormal, LGBTQ, Erotic Romance, Inspirational, Contemporary, Category Romance.

Is your favorite on the list? Even if it isn't, there will hopefully be several new-to-you titles to put on your "to be read" pile. NPR even helpfully created a printable list you can take to your local library or bookstore.
